Located in the urban neighborhood of Polanco in Mexico City, these brick townhouses consist of five structures sharing common areas and utilities, while preserving a high degree of autonomy and privacy. The contemporary design exploits red brick to bring an earthy vernacular to the living space; and spacious interiors are flooded with light through picture windows opening to landscaped gardens and trees that also provide privacy. Contrasting boldly with the surrounding modern structures, the playful texturing on the brick façades expresses a distinctive architectural identity.
